Choosing the right photo paper can be as simple as it can be complicated. Whether you are printing stock photos, moments captured on a top of the line, medium format camera, or even a smartphone picture, you still want to make a top of the line print every time.

Dye Ink
If you still have a HP5000 / 5500 with dye ink, a new CAD printer with dye ink or a combination of dye and pigment, or a new generation photo printer with dye ink, you need to be aware of short term and long term image fade. Most photo papers will print great initially, but fade or discolor, if not laminted, within a short period of time.
