Adhesive Signage
Choosing the right self adhesive media solution requires two pieces of information:
1. What are the properties of the mounting surface?
2. How long do you want it to stay there?
Okay... there’s a little more to it than that!
Backlit
There are many ways to secure a backlit film in a backlit display box and each box is a little different. Mounting the graphic film onto the Plexiglas backer board ensures there are no waves or ripples. Sihl has developed a proprietary adhesive system that does not interrupt the even light distribution, allows for easy, 100% bubble-free application and releases easily with no residue. Easily peel the graphic and reposition for a second or even third attempt, if you need it, without ruining the graphic.

There is clear and then there is CLEAR. If you have a clear surface such as a window, door, or a wall panel, it is usually there for some aesthetic or functional purpose. You probably don’t want to cover it with an opaque graphic. So why would you settle for a clear graphic film that is not as clear as your glass surface?

Adhesive graphics can be difficult to install on your first attempt, even with two people and a flat surface. Removable adhesives are designed to ease the process of installation and removal. If your first attempt didn’t work out so well, that’s okay, peel it up and start again. A removable adhesive will stick on your second and third attempts. Removal is just as easy. Whether you installed the graphic six months prior or the day before, when you take it down, you want it to remove cleanly and with no adhesive residue remaining on the mounting surface.
